According to the International Cricket Council, the ICC World Cup 2023 will be held in India from 5th October to 19th November 2023. The event was originally scheduled from 9th February to 26th March 2023. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dates were shifted to October and November 2023. In this tournament, One Day International matches will be played and each team has 50 overs to win the match.

It will be the 13th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup. After co-hosting previous tournaments in 1987 (with Pakistan), 1996 (with West Pakistan and Ceylon), and 2011 (with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh), this is the first time that India is going to host all the World Cup matches in India’s multifarious stadiums.
